What is an avatar?
An avatar is a three dimensional animated virtual “you”. It’s what you design to represent you in the TRIWORLD virtual environment. It’s an electronic image that is then manipulated by the beneficiary as the avatar journeys throughout its virtual environment.
Basically, an avatar allows you to protect your privacy: only your invited guests will know that your avatar is YOU. Humana Military believes quite strongly in protecting the privacy of our beneficiaries. Within TRIWORLD, no one will have access to real names, to SSNs, to medical information or any Protected Health Information (PHI) of any kind. And, each time a user signs in, there will be reminder that we expect users to respect others’ rights and not even discuss PHI while in this virtual environment.
How long does it take to create an avatar?
It’s actually a relatively simple process and should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.
Can I change the look of my avatar?
You certainly can – just follow the instructions in the tutorial on the TRIWORLD site or ask our avatar specialist for help.
How do I go about choosing a name for my avatar?
Basically, you select your first name and then use the template provided to choose from a set of available last names. The last names are designed to provide some indication of your “personality” in the TRIWORLD environment. Once you’ve chosen your name, it’s your name for as long as you maintain your TRIWORLD “account”.
Will I be able to change my avatar name later?
Each avatar has a unique first and last name. Your avatar's name will be used as your personal identity for others to see. Names cannot be changed later so choose wisely! Take your time with your selection and be creative.
What if other avatars become harassing or intrusive in TRIWORLD?
Each avatar has the ability to “mute” another avatar – eliminating the possibility of the other avatar invading your “space”. You also can report harassment or intrusive behavior by going to the “Help” menu and then selecting “Abuse Report”. Humana Military reserves the right to remove avatars from the TRIWORLD environment, permanently suspending their ability to enter this virtual world.

Please carefully review TRIWORLD's
Terms of Use.
