With TRICARE Standard, your health care coverage follows you wherever you go. When traveling overseas, you can use the TRICARE Standard option to receive care from any host nation provider. In the Philippines, however, you must seek care from a TRICARE-certified provider; a list of certified providers is available at
TRICARE's Pacific Area web site. Similar to when traveling stateside, you must pay for care and then file claims with TRICARE for reimbursement.
Note: You will file claims to the claims processor for the area in which you live.
