Traveling within the United States

If you seek care from a network provider, the provider will file the claim with your regional contractor on your behalf. If you seek care from a TRICARE-authorized non-network provider, you may have to pay up front, save your receipts, and file the claim with Humana Military. Claims are always filed with the regional contractor in your home region, not with the regional contractor in the area in which you are traveling.
