Once you have identified which TRICARE program options are available to you based on your beneficiary category, you can proceed to the next step. In some cases, you will be eligible for only one program. For example, if you’re an ADSM or a National Guard and Reserve member called to active duty for more than 30 consecutive days, you must enroll in TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Prime Remote. In this case, you can skip to Step 4 for information on how to enroll.
