Symptoms of Diabetes

What are the symptoms of diabetes?

The classic signs of Type I diabetes include:
  • Frequent urination. The body is trying to get rid of the excess sugar in the blood
  • Intense thirst. The body needs to replace the fluid lost through the urine
  • Increased hunger. The cells need nutrients
  • Weight loss. Without insulin, the body begins to starve

Type 2 diabetes produces milder symptoms that include:
  • Fatigue
  • Weakness
  • Dizziness
  • Blurred vision
