What are the symptoms of asthma?
Symptoms of asthma include:
Shortness of breath
Tightness, pain, or pressure in the chest
Wheezing – a high-pitched whistling sound when exhaling
Persistent cough (commonly at night in children)
Associated findings include:
Cold symptoms lasting more than 10 days
Excessive fatigue after exertion
Waking up often in the middle of the night with shortness of breath, chest tightness, or coughing
