Humana Military Healthcare Services partners with the Military Warriors Support Foundation and Valero Texas Open to Honor Wounded, Ill, and Recovering Heroes
 LOUISVILLE, KY — May 11, 2010—Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) – Humana Military Healthcare Services, TRICARE contractor for the South Region, partners with the Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF), and Golf San Antonio to recognize and host service members recovering from wounds, illnesses or injuries acquired in Iraq and Afghanistan for the 2010 Valero Texas Open, May 10-16, at the AT&T Oaks Course in San Antonio, Texas.
The 2010 Valero Texas Open received a much coveted spring date as part of the FedExCup competition, and in honor of our nation’s heroes, a Warrior Hospitality Suite will accommodate approximately 75 injured warriors and their families in a temperature controlled environment each day of the tournament.
“Every day, our nation’s heroes put their lives on the line to protect America. All of us at Humana Military are honored to host these brave men and women – and their families – at this year’s Valero Texas Open tournament,” said Dave Baker, president and CEO of Humana Military. “We hope their participation provides some fun and that it helps with their recovery.”
The event and private skybox will be encouraging for the injured warriors and their families and provide:
