(NYSE: HUM), recently received re-accreditation for its Web site from URAC, a Washington, D.C.-based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the industry.

The Health Web Site Accreditation program is an innovative, cost-effective quality improvement service, providing feedback to health Web site owners on how to improve the quality of online operations. Humana Military also has current URAC accreditation for Case Management, Disease Management in Asthma, Diabetes and Heart Failure, Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) – Privacy category, Health Network, and Health Utilization Management.
