Host Teleconference for Active Duty Family Members
TRICARE Behavioral Health Benefit to be Discussed in Detail
 LOUISVILLE, KY — January 11, 2008—Humana Military Healthcare Services (HMHS) and its behavioral health partner, ValueOptions, will be hosting a teleconference on January 24, 2008 for active duty family members residing in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, the Florida Panhandle, and the area surrounding New Orleans, Louisiana. Beneficiaries will receive information regarding their TRICARE behavioral health benefits; in addition representatives from both host agencies will be available to answer questions from callers.
The call will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (CST). Beneficiaries should use the following toll free number and code to call in: 1-866-340-2757, participant code is 183736.
“Providing guidance and assistance to active duty service members and their families is important to HMHS. We want our beneficiaries to know what resources are available and in place to help them through this challenging time,” said Dave Baker, president and CEO of HMHS. “It is a privilege to serve these honorable men and women in uniform.”
The teleconference is being held as a result of the Mental Health Task Force recommendations released in its 2007 report, “An Achievable Vision: Report of the Department of Defense Task Force on Mental Health.”
